FAST is an acronym used for learning the signs of stroke that stands for,
- Face: Does the face look uneven? Ask the person to smile
- Arm: Does one arm drift down? Ask the person to raise both arms
- Speech: Does their speech sound strange? Ask the person to repeat a simple phrase, for example, "The sky is blue."
- Time: If you observe any of these signs, then it's time to call emergency.
Whereas, ABC is an acronym used by American Heart in giving a simple tips to reduce the risk of heart attack, and also stroke.
- A: Avoid Tobacco, that related to Tobacco smoke, stress, high blood pressure, high blood cholesterol
- B: Be More Active, that related to Physical inactivity, stress, high blood pressure, high blood cholesterol, obesity
- C: Choose Good Nutrition, that related to alcohol stress, high blood pressure, high blood cholesterol, Diabetes Mellitus, obesity
